Cleaning and Finishing
Whether we are preparing parts for final shipment or for further operations such as welding, painting, or assembly, we use a variety of equipment for deburring, graining, cleaning, and finishing.
We employ both wet and dry Timesaver units with various belt grits for graining. Other methods of deburring involve the use of tumbling machines for smaller items, jitterbugs, and a variety of air tools.
Chemical cleaning and etch tanks ensure that parts are properly prepared for welding or painting. In addition, our automatic cleaning/painting/curing line includes a five-station automatic cleaning sequence.
We perform chemical treatments such as iridite, alodine, and passivation of stainless steel. For electro-plating with materials such as zinc, nickel, tin, and anodized finishes, we subcontract with carefully chosen and closely monitored outside suppliers.
